Bell details

1  Unknown c1350 3-2-14 26.375" sounds note E and unmarked inscription.
2 Hugh Watts, Leicester 1616 7-0-23 34.00" sounds note Bb marked "CELOMUN CHRISTE PLATIAT TIBI REX SONUS ISTE 1616"

Two bells are hung in a modern steel Taylors frame from 1933 with both bells fitted with hastings stays and swinging East West. The ringing chamber is above the entrance portico and is accessed by a spiral staircase. They are currently perfectly capable of being rung full circle especially now both bells have stays. The treble had been missing its stay and toggle for many years. As the old ropes were in some places "spliced" with a reef knot new matching second hand ropes have now been fitted, making them easier on the hands as well as nicer to ring.
